Julian Farino Gets Biblical

Julian Farino
Julian Farino has made a name for himself directing shows that might make your church going grandmother sick to her stomach. With dozens of credits to his name for HBO hit shows like "Entourage" and "Sex in the City", its safe to say Farino has his grasp of todays 20 or 30 something sub-culture. Farino has gained a reputation for getting his audience to endulge in its secret lust for fame, fortune, and fornication.
Farino will change gears next year when he is set to direct 'The Year of Living Biblically'. The film is a Jay Reiss adaptation of the non-fiction book by A.J. Jacobs. The book centers around the life of a man that tries to live his life according to the teachings of the bible word for word. Unknown to todays society is that its practices go far beyond the basics of thou shelt not steal and murder. The moving will attempt to stay light hearted by adding Marlon Wayans as the lead role. Wayans will be challenged with adding a comedic touch to a story that will have real moral dilemmas, most of which face many Americans today.
Don't expect Farino to shy away from his bread and butter for long. He is currently directing several episodes of HBO's new hit series "How to Make It in America." The series revolves around the lives of 20 somethings trying to fight their way to the top of New Yorks cut throat fashion industry, while enjoying the ride all the way to to top. Expect a February premier date for "How to Make It in America," and late 2010 or early 2011 for "The Year of Living Biblically."
