Bryan Greenberg Is BIG In The Amish World
This footage was taken while Bryan Greenberg and friends hit the road on his music tour back in 2008. While driving through East Jesus, they encounter an Amish Superstore selling jelly, undoubtedly made entirely from scratch. The man with the cash is Jonathan Azu, Bryan’s longtime friend and music manager. Azu is a rising star in the music industry and current Executive VP of Business Development and Marketing at Superfly Presents. Superfly is the production company that brings you mega-concerts such as Bonnaroo and Outside Lands. I’m guessing Bryan probably didn’t get a lot of method acting practice for his new HBO show while hanging out with the Amish.
Shannyn Sossamon Makes Me Want To Shop At The Gap
Shannyn Sossamon has a wide variety of talents. For those that don't know, before she got her break on the big screen, she worked as a DJ in several Los Angeles clubs. Rumor has it, she was with her friend who deejayed for Gwyneth Paltrow and Jack Paltrow's joint birthday party in Hollywood, when she was discovered by director Brian Helgeland, who later cast her in "A Knight's Tale." Sossamon also worked several gigs as a model in various print ads and commercials at the start of her career. In the above Gap commercial from 2001, she was able to show the world that she just might be the hottest DJ on the planet. We'll look past that fact that the Gap doesn't make anything in America.

Luis Guzman Chats About “How to Make It”
Here is a clip of Luis Guzman on the set of “HTMIA” with Luis Antonio Ramos of LatinoFilmChatter.com. Guzman discusses his role on the new HBO comedy series, and how it came about. Ramos, in addition to his role with LatinoFilmChatter, will also appear in a smaller role on "HTMIA.” I’ve long been a fan of Guzman since his role in “Boogie Nights,” which also had a Mark Walhberg connection, and again in “Carlito’s Way.” This time, I’m putting him on blast for his muff of Bryan Greenberg’s former HBO series “Unscripted,” calling it “Extras.” Check out the 1:28 mark of the video for the slip. I’m told Guzman is a great guy, in addition to being a great actor, so this time will let it slide.
“How to Make It” Wraps Up At Vento Trattoria
Although shooting hasn't officially wrapped up, "How to Make It in America" held its wrap party just before the Thanksgiving break. Cameras should shut down on season one for good at the end of this week. That didn't stop the cast and crew from blowing off some steam early at Vento Trattoria at Hudson and 14th. Sources say that there was a number of cast members in attendance including lead Bryan Greenberg, Lake Bell, and Eddie Kaye Thomas. Cast members are notorious for skipping out on wrap parties, so it was good to hear they came and showed their support for the lamens. How to Make a Great Night? Free food and drinks.
Lake Bell’s Career Getting Complicated
Lake Bell, the star of television series " Boston Legal" and "Surface" has kicked her big screen career into overdrive. She will star in the upcoming Nancy Meyers movie "It's Complicated." The movie features Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin, who will try and rekindle their romance after a ten year divorce. The catch is Baldwin is already remarried to the much younger Bell. Adding to the tove triangle is Steve Martin, who attempts to court Streep. As the title says, it's complicated. Bell's latest movie will hit the theaters on Christmas Day. With an all-star cast, expect big returns at the box office.
Don't expect Bell's career to slow down after the holiday season. She currently has two feature films in post-production. "Little Murder," which she stars opposite Josh Lucas and Terrence Howard, and "Burning Palms," starring Zoe Saldana and Dylan McDermott, both have 2010 release dates that are yet to be announced. A forth movie, "Still Waters," an indy film was just featured in the St. Louis International Film Festival on November 13th.
